personal branding for business leaders.

Reputation and content are worth more than advertising: how to build the kind of authority that brings clients, not just likes.

People buy from people

A company can communicate for years without anyone remembering it. A person who says intelligent things in their field cannot. Personal branding for a business leader isn't vanity: it is the cheapest trust asset a company can build. Before signing, clients search for your name on Google and LinkedIn: what they find — or fail to find — is already part of the negotiation.

Authority, not presence

Being there isn't enough. The most common mistake is publishing a lot and saying little: generic motivation, celebrations, stock phrases. Authority is built the other way round: a few clear ideas, repeated consistently, on a topic you genuinely own. Your followers should be able to finish the sentence: "he/she is the one who...".

The method: three content formats that work

The point of view (what you think about a topic in your sector, even against the grain), the behind-the-scenes (how you work, what a mistake taught you) and the proof (a result, a case, a number). Rotating these three formats regularly — even just once a week — changes perception within six months. You don't need viral videos: you need consistency.

What AI has to do with it

Today generative engines build your reputation too: when someone asks ChatGPT "who is [name]", the answer comes from the content you have published. A well-kept profile and structured content are the raw material AI uses to tell people who you are. That, too, is getting found.

In short
  • Personal reputation works before every negotiation.
  • A few clear, consistent ideas beat a lot of empty presence.
  • Three formats: point of view, behind the scenes, proof.
  • AI tells people who you are too — from your own sources.
